Given $h: \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}$, $h(x) = \dfrac{2x + 3}{x + 2}$. Find the value of $h(-1)$.

Worked explanation

• Substitute x = -1 into f(x)

  \[f(-1) = \dfrac{2(-1) + 3}{(-1) + 2}\]

• Calculate the result

  \[f(-1) = 1\]
