Worked explanation

• Evaluate f(-2)

  \[y(-2) = -18\]

• Differentiate and evaluate at x0

  \[\dfrac{dy}{dx} = 6 x^{2}, \quad m = 24\]

• y - y0 = m(x - x0)

  \[y = 24 x + 30\]
